XYLOMETAZOLINE NASAL SPRAY 0.05% W/V

For relief of nasal congestion.

Adult Dose :

• 1-2 sprays per nostril 2-3 times daily

Pediatric Dose :

• 1 spray per nostril 2-3 times daily (children ≥ 2 years)

A decongestant that provides temporary relief from nasal congestion by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, improving airflow. It acts rapidly to relieve swelling and stuffiness, making it easier to breathe through the nose.

Severe hypertension, cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, atrophic rhinitis, patients using mao inhibitors.

Do not use for more than 5 days to avoid rebound congestion. Caution in diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and prostatic hyperplasia. Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation without medical advice.
