Adolescents Dose :

• Not recommended for children.

A long-acting muscarinic antagonist (lama) that relaxes airways and improves breathing in patients with copd. It is administered once daily and helps to reduce exacerbations and improve lung function over time.

Hypersensitivity to tiotropium or any excipients in the formulation.Should not be used as a primary treatment for acute bronchospasm.

Caution in patients with narrowangle glaucoma, prostatic hyperplasia, or bladder neck obstruction (may cause urinary retention).Caution in patients with renal impairment; dosing adjustments may be required.May cause anticholinergic side effects; monitor for signs of dry mouth, constipation, etc.Ensure patients are instructed on proper inhaler technique to optimize drug delivery.
