Etoricoxib Is A Selective Cox-2 Inhibitor Nsaid Used To Treat Pain And Inflammation In Conditions Such As Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, And Acute Pain. It Works By Specifically Blocking The Cox-2 Enzyme, Which Is Responsible For Inflammation And Pain, While Sparing Cox-1, Which Protects The Gastric Mucosa. This Selectivity May Result In Fewer Gastrointestinal Side Effects Compared To Nonselective Nsaids.
