BUDESONIDE 400MCG

In maintainance treatment of astma as prophylactic therapy in adult and pediatric patients six years of age or older

Adult Dose :

• For preventing an asthma attack: for inhalation dosage form (powder inhaler):adults and children 6 years of age and older—at first, one or two puffs two times a day. Your doctor may increase your dose as needed.

Adolescents Dose :

• Children younger than 6 years of age—use and dose must be determined by your doctor.

A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, used as a prophylactic therapy for asthma. It is effective in improving lung function and preventing asthma attacks in both adults and children, enhancing overall respiratory health.

Hypersensitivity to budesonide or any components of the formulation.Not for the treatment of acute asthma or severe exacerbations.

Use with caution in patients with systemic fungal infections or tuberculosis.Monitor for signs of adrenal suppression, especially during stress or after withdrawal.Caution in patients with liver impairment; may require dosage adjustment.Patients should be educated about the potential for oral thrush and advised on oral hygiene.
