Mr. Samir Vasavada is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company.

He is M.Pharma from the University of Mumbai. Recipient of PAMDAL and IPA scholarships and was Jr. Research Fellow in BARC.

Mr. Vasavada has a wealth of experience, competencies and expertise in Pharma Manufacturing, Technical Audits, New Product Launch, Supply Chain Management, Projects and techno-commercial functions.

He has spent 35 years in Pharmaceutical Industries. He has worked in Pfizer, Boots Pharmaceuticals, Knoll Pharmaceuticals and retired from Abbott India Ltd as an Associate Director.

He is a recipient of Abbott’s Managing Director’s awards three times, for Outstanding contribution in manufacturing and distribution of NSAID, Antacids and Antiepileptic products in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Under his leadership an international product prescribed for Non- Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease was tech transferred to India from Germany and Italy for the first time in India.

Significant technical contribution in setting up of a manufacturing Hormone Tablet and Injection plant at Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh and Haridwar, Uttarakhand and OSD facility in Rangpo East Sikkim, Sikkim.
He was the key member of the team to manufacture Bovine and Porcine Insulin injections in Halol, Gujarat.

He has led the technical team in selection of plant and machineries and in upgradation of plant facilities, He is FDA approved Chemist and a Member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
