AZELASTINE HYDROCHLORIDE 0.1% NASAL SPRAY
ANTI -ALLERGIC
Used for allergic rhinitis.
Adult Dose :
- 1-2 sprays per nostril twice daily
Pediatric Dose :
- Not approved for children under 5 years
An antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing and runny nose. It works by blocking histamine receptors in the nasal cavity, thus reducing the effects of histamine, a chemical released during allergic reactions.
Hypersensitivity to azelastine or any components of the formulation.
May cause drowsiness; avoid operating machinery. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Avoid alcohol and cns depressants. Prolonged use may cause nasal irritation.
